Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I join TAMID Group?

TAMID Group is unique because we are Michigan's only consulting and investment club. As an internationally recognized organization, TAMID Group offers business-related, social and philanthropic opportunities that complement your experience as a University of Michigan student. Our organization is comprised of students with a variety of backgrounds, interests and career goals.

Does TAMID Group only take business majors?

No! While many of our members are pursuing business majors, others study various disciplines. Other common majors include economics, organizational studies, engineering, and more. However, what unites us all is a commitment to learn more about ourselves personally and professionally through business in Israel.

How much of a time commitment is TAMID Group?

During the education semester, members are required to attend bi-weekly meetings, participate in multiple weekly coffee chats, and join speaker events with industry professionals to build a strong foundation in TAMID’s mission and culture. Upon becoming full members, they commit to attending TAMID Night each week and completing independent research and project work outside of meetings. These commitments ensure that members actively engage and contribute to the organization’s success. Being in TAMID is a highly rewarding experience, where the effort and dedication members invest directly impact the opportunities and growth they achieve, both personally and professionally.

Prospective Students: FAQ

Do I have to attend all of the recruitment events?

No, attending recruitment events is not required to apply to the club, as most relevant information is readily available on our website. However, we highly encourage prospective members to participate in as many recruitment events as possible. These events are a great way to gain deeper insights into our organization, its culture, and the opportunities we offer. Additionally, attending events allows you to ask specific questions about the application process, connect with current members, and better understand how TAMID aligns with your goals and interests.
